This place is great. I've been here twice, and the second time I attended, a waiter fixed a homeless man a plate and took it outside. So kind
The food is delicious, I recommend the honey walnut prawns, the chow mien, and the shrimp dumplings. The also have delicious Thai tea.
The ambiance inside is a sit-down kind of spot, but whenever I've been I haven't seen a lot of people so I usually take it to-go.
Delicious food, reasonable price! -

An Eastern European and an Italian walk into First Szechuan Wok...
The only non-Asian diners last evening, therefore the only diners having being raised on Chun King Chow Mein in a can and a no longer politically correct "converted rice", they order what they know, what they always order in a Chinese restaurant, what they trust: eggrolls, Kung Pao Chicken, Dry Sautéed String Beans and brown rice (because it's healthier, right?).
They are grateful that their attentive, savvy waiter does not burden them with chopsticks (a.k.a. waste perfectly good utensils that will keep a table occupied way longer than necessary as said non-Asian diners attempt to get said ordered food clumsily into their mouths).
An endless pot of tea was a refreshing note to their usual alcohol soaked dines.
Oh, there was fried shrimp in addition to the eggrolls the Eastern European and her Italian hubby enjoyed. Both appetizers dipped in the accompanying hot mustard to totally get their dinner started.
OK, enough of the third person, semi-entertaining stuff.
We, hubby and I are now official First Szechuan Wok fans not only that it's walkable but that our tried and true dishes measure up (they're authentic to us).
Kung Pao Chicken was sizzling, just the right amount of heat and the Sautéed String Beans were al dente, garlicky both portions so generous we had leftovers just now, just as good as last evening.
Saddened that our recent Mandarin Kitchen discovery has since closed and desperately in search of nearby, well executed Chinese food, we are deliciously happy to have found First Szechuan Wok.
We'll be back to explore the menu. Maybe on an off night I might even learn to properly use chopsticks ...

Their waiter was kinda pushy. But the foods are very yummy. Most Chinese foods are salty but this restaurant's isn't which is so refreshing.

When we went around 7pm on a Thursday there was no customers dining in but many people waiting for take-outs. We ordered curry beef, sweet and sour pork and first special chow mein. The serving time was very short, and the service was nice. The sweet and sour pork was crispy when it was just served yet I'd like it to have less sauce at the bottom. The curry beef was mostly in very big pieces. There were complimentary oranges too that was pretty fresh.

I could never think of a more fresh Chinese restaurant in my life. Their food is the highlight of my month. You have to try this place.
